Before I started my first year in poly, I made an agreement with my BFFs (Kimberly and Daphne) that we are to go on a graduation trip together when we graduate 3 years down the road. After some time, I laughed at myself for actually making such a stupid pact, since we may actually drift apart in between the 3 years. But who knows? We did make it pass the 3 years, and actually DID go on a trip together! A 5D4N Trip To Hong Kong! Planning of the trip started out roughly 4 months before departure, with regular phone calls, meet-ups, and texts to settle the flight tickets, accommodation and the itinerary for the 5 days there.

Charges Incurred Before The Trip
Flight Ticket: Tiger Airlines (SGD$250 inclusive of baggage allowance)
Accommodation: Acesite Knutsford Hotel (SGD$200)

On 06.03.2010, our journey began! The flight was at 7.50am, so we were expected to check-in at 5.50am. Imagine the time! When I woke up, and left the house, the only sound I can hear was crickets, no cars, no people, ultimate QUIETNESS!

Met up with them at the Budget Terminal, after the appropriate procedures, headed to Macs for breakfast before entering the departure hall.

After 2 years, I'm finally sitting on a plane again! And heading back to Hong Kong! Super Excited! *screams*

My luggage (grey one) weigh about 5kg, since I simply have no idea what to pack. All I did was threw in a couple of shirts and shorts, and other necessities, since we had the impression that the weather in Hong Kong wouldn't be any different from Singapore.

BFF- Daphne!

BFF- Kimberly!

The point in time we were about to board the plane, the sun was only rising. The feeling of waking up early.... SUCKS! Oh did I mention, the Budget Terminal basically has nothing.. the departure hall basically has nothing much, a few duty-free shops and a cafe, that's it. IMPROVEMENTS NEEDED!

GOING TO HONG KONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tiger Airlines has got to improve their facilities! Usage of a plain A4 paper as a signage? Don't they have a printer or something? Deserve something better even though we're paying low prices right?

Boarding Passes!

On the most amazing roller coaster plane!

What do people do when there's no entertainment on board a plane? Wi-Fi PSP GAMES!

Self-entertain by singing along with the songs played in an Mp3!

Touchdown in Hong Kong! I'm there I'm there!

Took one of the Airport Express Buses to the vicinity of our hotel.

A21!

The bus is super cool! Unlike buses in Singapore that heads to Changi Airport, these buses have an area specially for luggages.

YES! COOL RIGHT?!! Passengers won't have to carry or hold onto the luggage while on the bus. SUPER CONVENIENT!

And and....

They have a leg rest for most seats! SO GOOD! It's like super comfortable coach to Genting or something! SBS and SMRT should implement similar things to add to the comfort level for us Singaporeans and tourists!

Camwhore in the bus!

The ride from the airport to the city area took roughly 15mins, and we got to see the various unique features of Hong Kong, like temples, cemeteries, super tall and old buildings and thousand million retail shops all along the streets!

My BFFs said that this photo is super emotional. I however feel like I'm either sleeping soundly or mourning over a lost one. LOL! What do you guys think?

Upon alighting the bus, we had to walk quite a long way to find the street our hotel is located at. SUPER FAR!

Arrived at the hotel!

The hotel is situated on top of a slope and isn't very big. The ground level isn't the front desk, but a small area for concierge and a lift. I was really disappointed once I entered the hotel, as the website has shown such beautiful and fabulous rooms and interior of the hotel. But who knows? It isn't a 4 star hotel as stated, but a boutique hotel that has less than 50 rooms? The front desk was on the 5th floor, with just one staff, and no uniform. Rooms are from 6th floor onwards with roughly 3-4 rooms per level. Kinda pathetic I gotta admit. But it's cheap!

The room was also quite disappointing, no magnificient view of the area, no comfy bed and its super small. But I got to say, the toilet is perfect! Super nice! Since I spend quite a lot of my time in the toilet, as long as the toilet is good, I'll accept any room!

After doing a little unpacking, and resting for a bit, we headed off to The Peak!

The photo isn't do the slope justice! It's like super duper steep lor! If you lose your balance while climbing the slope, I'm pretty sure you'll roll down onto the road and BANG, free curry chicken for all your friends and family.

I don't understand the ratio of 1:5 on the sign though, but I figured it has something to do with the steepness.

Train station that is said to be near to the hotel, but takes like more than 5 mins walk!

Had the feeling that I was back in Singapore. Kinda Deja Vu! But there's one bad thing about Hong Kong's MTR. The distance between the point of entrance to the boarding of MTR area is like super duper far can! I'm not joking! It's not like Singapore, escalator go down, you'll reach. In Hong Kong, you'll have to go down the escalator and walk walk walk like BIG WALK before reaching the area. Totally can slim down, if it becomes a routine!

A beautiful fountain thingy right outside the train station, "Central" or “中环”.

Walked to the Lower Peak Terminus, and we didn't get lost! We're like locals, don't even have to ask for help! *shines with pride*

This is the olden version of the Tram that will bring us up to The Peak, I guess...

We bought tickets that enables us to sit on the Tram up and down, gain entrance to The highest area to see the wonderful view of Hong Kong, and also to Madame Tussauds, wax museum. Cost: HKD$200, approximately SGD$40.

The tram! It's RED!

The ride up and down was damn exciting! You go like 45degrees while heading up, and 45degrees, with a almost leaving seat due to gravity kinda feeling when coming down. DAMN FUN! And the view you get to see while taking the tram. Breathtaking! But can't be compared to what one will see when you head up The Peak.

The previous time I went to Hong Kong, the Tram actually stops along the way, like an MRT, along the super steep track, the Tram actually stops and lets passengers alight and board. At that point in time, I was wondering to myself, who would want to stop in the middle of nowhere, since I don't see any houses located near the stop. But now, apparently the Tram doesn't stop anymore, it goes directly up!

The view while in the Tram! It's like already damn CHIO la!

There were a number of paintings hanging on the wall, with items or food or places and other stuffs that represent Hong Kong. I saw like dim sums, temples, lots of signboards and high-rise buildings. SUPER ALOT! And really, all are what one can associate with Hong Kong!

Set foot into Madame Tussauds and what do we get? Famous Celebrity treatment! Lots of flashes from various cameras and tons of microphones stabbing at us wanting to interview us! HAHA! Nah, that's like imagination and the desire to become a celebrity hitting at my head.

Jackie Chan!

This man here is supposed to be Jay Chou, more efforts needed in order to be totally alike. But maybe it's because he's too ugly, that's why the sculptor has difficulties copying the real look.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie! HOT!

Nicole Kidman!

BIG SMILES ON ME AND EDDIE MURPHY!

Check out those ABS on Aaron Kwok! *drools*

ANDY LAU!

That's Meryl Streep for those who don't know.

The ladies are trying to mimic the pose of that girl, I don't know who she is, so don't ask!

I'm married to Kelly Chen! Oh, on a side note, zoom in on the pic and you'll see she has super yellowish teeth! FUCK! She smokes!

Taking a photo with Leslie Zhang! Still love his songs! Retro Pop!

Princess Diana!

Pro-Nazi! GO HITLER!

Vying for the violin with Mozart!

Kim: WTF! Why is Shakespeare writing porn stories? *frowns*
Me: Wa! Super interesting can! Even better than those Romeo and Juliet! Who wants those when we can get super famous porn stories, right?

Kim: TRUE! Eh, Shakespeare maybe you wanna add this in, to make it more interesting...
Me: Yeah! Then hor, can add in maybe threesome or sixsome to make everyone more aroused!....

*inserts own ending here* I'm giving those super deprived uncles and horny people a chance to fantasize about their own endings. I'll say "Welcome" since I know most of you would be thanking me!

Anyways, back to more photos...

Man in White: Fuck, It's Jamie Bond! RUN!
Jamie Bond: I've Got A GUN! FREEZE!

Man in White: *moves an inch*
Jamie Bond: *BANG* Told you not to move! *blows at pistol*

We're stuck in a painting! And I'm wearing a bikini!

Okay, it looks more like those bra in ancient Chinese dramas...

Englishman, Pirate, Fong Fei Fei, Cowboy!

Girls trying to block shots from YaoMing. Oh, I have to give credit to the sculptor who created him, because he even has armpit hair! Super realistic can!

Beatles!

We're all trying to mimic the person on our right. And I think the 3 of us did a GREAT JOB! Just like a replica of it!

The museum also dedicated an entire room for Anita Mui! SUPERSTAR jiu shi SUPERSTAR! Always different! *jealous*

Current Shining Star, Joey Yung!

The ever-so HOT MADONNA!

King and Queen! But apparently the crown is super duper big, totally covered my eyes la!

Running for president! Guess who won? ME! (self-proclaim, but no worries, I'm gonna be a very good president!)

Our art and crafts session with Picasso!

We're the Invincibles! Full time construction workers, part time superhero!

A date with a SUMO! Kim thinks she's the beauty with the beast! But I think she's just a total whore! What's with that pose anyways! Oh and I've got super huge breasts and nipples and a totally sagging crotch area. LOL!

After much fun in the museum taking thousand million photos. We headed up to the top! It was super windy and super cold! The weather is terrific! LOVE IT ALOT! Spend some time looking at the breathtaking views and enjoying the cold breeze!

Don't know what's with the face! But totally EPIC!

The view! SUPER NICE RIGHT?! And it's quite foggy, but you can see the fog moving very quickly cos the wind keeps blowing! MAD CHIO!

The exterior of the mall!

Finally, the end of a tiring day! Headed for dinner and some random window shopping!

A new shopping centre that just opened for business a few days before our arrival. Nothing much, but the interior is super classy! Like our very own Somerset 313, but smaller!

That's the end of Day 1! Boring? It's just the beginning!
