Bestow upon me the title of "Drama" King!
Apart from work, the next great thing that I've been caught doing, is definitely watching dramas. Mostly US dramas. Really really nice.
Vampire diaries has stopped its airing for the time being till jan 2010, and at episode 10, just makes me excited about whats next. Who's the monster that Elena banged into? Is it that history teacher that I'm assuming to be? And the interesting things that Bonnie the witch can do.
Tell me this is actually way better than the Twilight Saga movie! Although I haven't read the vampire diaries series, but I can definitely say, this surpasses the boring Twilight movie. (They just cut too many scenes off)
Next up, Gossip Girl! Okay, this season is seriously getting boring, although with same minor scenes which spice up the entire episode, like chuck kissing the guy, jenny finding nate as her escort, and of course the threesome party. But seriously, isn't it getting a little off? What's with the hold up with serena's dad? Just give it to us already!
And also, the new release of drama which is still a hit in the US. GLEE! Some might say it's like HSM made into a drama series, but seriously, its way better than that. The casts' covers of songs like Rihanna's Rehab and Take a Bow? Magnificient I must say. Can't wait for season 2! No wonder it's a hit in the US!
Apart from all this drama-mama, Desperate Housewives, Heroes, Brothers and Sisters, One Tree Hill (features Robert Buckley in the new season!), and Melrose Place are also packing my drama schedules to the fullest. Not to mention entertainment programs like Project Runway , Survivor, Dancing with the Stars (which I am so eager to watch!), Amazing Race and America's Next Top Model. So many shows, so little time!

Work in Five Stars has basically settled as a routine, just with different inputs and outputs daily. On the bright side, colleagues are really great to me and really fun. Lots of food and presents, as most of them were asked to lead some tours to HK, Australia, Korea.... (I got a mickey mouse from HK disneyland!)
Went for supper with them just now at one of a delicious BKT shop at Katong, expensive for a poor student like me, but simply delicious. Working with them just make the boring routine job enjoyable, with lots of joking around and fooling around, customer complaining, bitching about the hating of "black skins" and "cheena accent". Less than 2 more months to go... definitely shall enjoy the good and bad of it all.....

The end of civilization is finally coming round. It has been predicted in 2012, the world will disappear, everything shall all come to nought. All continents shall vanish, All kingdoms shall fall, All people shall die....
Caught 2012, really an eye-opener. It sure had us all fearing the day as it comes nearer, what if it really came true? What if we really die? What-if..... What-if......
Deep down, I'm really worried that if that day really comes, and the world is really ending, would my life be fulfilled then? Will I have time to bid farewell to my loved ones. I wouldn't want to lose the chance to bid farewell to my parents, just like in the movie when an old man called his son, waiting to speak to him before the tsunami hits, but the tsunami hit his son's apartment just when he picked up the phone. Really really heart breaking.....
And the life i'll be leading... I'll only be 22 years old? Just out from NS? Without any idea of life's true purpose? My goal? My dream? Shattered....
At that time, will anyone still remember friends and family? Or will humans be fending for themsleves, call that human instincts, one should always fend for himself/herself.
If the entire human civilization is going down, but just 3 ships worth of humans survive and will continue to sustain the population, will you want to be one of them? Knowing the hardship and how mental taxing that is going to be? Do you still want to continue surviving?
But i guess if that's what going to happen, it will happen. Like what ah bu told me while the taxi driver sent her home, "You Will Never Know When God Will Make It Happen, It Might Not Be 2012.... And Even If It Did Happen, It's A Blessing That Brings You To God.... "

Oh god, I actually motivated myself to run home from work.
And god, now my legs are sore, can't really feel them now, stupid NAFA test, if not I won't be doing this at all!
I managed to talk to one of my primary school buddies today, like finally met on facebook, and the first convo was very stupid. Kinda ridiculous i know....

19th Birthday Is Over Just Like That.
Sincerely Thank You to all those who wished me Happy Birthday.
Went out for lunch at NYNY, filling dinner, had me filled up to the brim. (not to the extend of vomiting everything out though)
We got free cotton candy! (oh well, anyone who dines there gets free cotton candy too)
I got a free soup bowl too, courtesy of NYNY. (okay i know its kinda lame, a soup bowl)
Got a chocolate cake for my birthday! (Apart from the chocolate cake i ate, Sis came back with lots of chocs from France, took lots of them too! I LOVE CHOCS!)
Anyways, this was what I was given for my birthday, cash ang baos! $_$
Motivation to run starts today! RIGHT AFTER WORK!
Oh yeah, and thx ah bu for this drawing, although it looks super uber stupid, but its seriously CUTE! love ya! =D
On a side note, on such a joyous occasion, let me share with u guys 2 super uber funny (I think i'm addicted to the uber word) videos, funny scenes of United Airlines and Abercrombie and Fitch. ENJOY! =D
