Friday, August 28, 2009 Exams are finally over! My 2 and a half years of torment has ended! No more exams till i consider heading to university later after my NS. Hopefully I can do better without exams. *crosses fingers* I basically didn't feel guilt even though exam pressure was piling up on me. I watched tv, surf the net, played games without feeling the guilt that I didn't put in extra effort for exams. LOL. But that's the way I do it. =) Anyways, coursework grades before exams: MICE: B FnB: B Lodging: B DPD: B Ticketing: A Apparently after the exams, results will definitely change drastically, obviously to grades worse than these. Thats the reason I'm showing coursework grades! =D Anyways, after the final paper in the morning just now, I headed to watch The Proposal. Rating? 4/5, lots of humour and several romantic scenes which are bound to make u go "awwwww". Until now the most memorable scene of the movie is a man who doesn't really have the body who acted as a striptease. I was basically falling of the seat while laughing at him. The ladies were so "INTO" the entire show that they love that guy. Very funny, and he acted not only as the striptease but a store owner and a solemnizer as well. Even till the end of the show, all we talked about was the guy, and how obscene he is. More movie watching to come, and 1 week more to the start of internship. =) Labels: The Proposal

Miss Those Days... Thursday, August 13, 2009 Tuesday did a VERY meaningful thing, I went to walk for rice, an event organised in TP where every 100m you walk, a bowl of rice will be donated. I wanted to take this walk since the week before when I first saw it, but I thought to myself that I won't be coming to school, but who knows, I did walk, and I even walk 18 rounds of 200m, which means 36 bowls of rice to them! And it doesn't even feel like a task, it's just walking, and just takes some time out of my schedule, and I can help out for charity. SWEET! =) Went back to school on Wednesday evening to practice for Ticketing test, for a short while only I admit. And we did some random blowing of those balloons or something. It was fun and really really funny. We were laughing as the thingy looks like used condoms after we crush it, due to the plastic feeling and the amount of saliva in it which looks like yeah.. shall not elaborate.... Just headed to EHub! to watch GI.Joe, i know i know.. i watched quite a number of movies this month already... but can't help it, too many interesting movies for me to watch. The first time after so long that the original O.C.K. gang went out together. (Original because we have expanded our business and have partners creating the new O.C.K. and Frenz!) It was also a really random chance where all of us agreed to watch it, initially was only 4 of us, and it boomed to the 7 of us. Wonders when in the near future we will do this again??? =( The show was awesome, rating by me? 5/5! It's the best action-pack show I've watched, and I don't even have the time to yawn because the action lasted for the entire movie, making me so excited. The cinema was full of "Oooossss", "Wows", "Eeeees", "WOAHs" made by the group of us, as we seriously find it very exciting. Futuristic but lots of action and lots of incredible machinery. Awesome! Miss Those Days... Tuesday, August 11, 2009 Friday marks the end of all the presentations for my Polytechnic life, also the end of wearing formal wear to TP. Kinda having mix feelings, leaving TP in half a year's time, and its time to fend for myself. I guess I'm still not ready to proceed out, I hope to stay in my own little world. Took photos as a class, and took photos with some of my classmates for this semester, although we didn't really bond well as all we did was stay in the same room for lessons and that was about it, but still played a part in my life. So? CHEERS! =) I shall talk about my group members another time..... Sunday was Singapore's 44th Birthday, and a day for us to view fireworks on display. (more pics and video of the fireworks display are on my facebook) Headed to Marina Square area with ah bu, ah geng and reuben to watch. Initially wanted to go to marina barrage, but apparently we don't know the way there. The sudden feeling of patriotism was so intense when everywhere around the district was filled with red and white clothes, national day songs, flags and lots of national day related stuffs. Stood around and started singing those songs, felt the primary and secondary sch times where singing these songs were a chore, but now, it felt great to sing them. Sat at the patch of grass and slacked, played some games, chit-chatted, and people-watch for a few hours and finally the display which we anticipated for so long...... Saw the helicopters and planes fly past. Walked along and saw some tankers. The street was closed because they know we're passing by. Watched UP yesterday with my sister and nieces, obviously she paid. THANKS SIS! =) Its quite a show, rating? 4.5/5 Actually the show is very different from what the trailer shows, and most of the funny parts of the movie were seen in the trailer, the other parts of the movie were really great. Shall not be a spoiler and tell the story. Watch it. Really great! (Although, my nieces were noisy, and one even peed on my sis's pants) Took this during the wait for the fireworks, nice isn't it?? Hope to see the sky in many different cities...... Labels: National Day, Poly Life, UP

Miss Those Days... Sunday, August 2, 2009 Headed out to celebrate Lydia Tay's birthday. Happy Belated 19th Birthday again Lydia! Went to pasta waraku to have our lunch, which was so very filling. After that we headed to watch The Hangover! OMG! rating, 5/5! Funniest show ever.. its like the best lame and obscene comedy I've ever watched. And trust me on this, I've watched lots and lots of comedies and this is one of the best. Imagine a scene where a guy teaches a baby, A BABY, how to masturbate, And also a scene where a nude man climbs out of the car boot and starts hitting u, while naked with a hairy crotch. FUCKING HILARIOUS! I basically laughed all the way from the start to the end. But some parts are really so gross that I feel like puking. BUT ITS REALLY AWESOME, WORTH TO WATCH AGAIN AND AGAIN! I shall blog again tmr about what I found on youtube when I was so bored. =) Labels: Lydia's Birthday, The Hangover
