Ladies, I'm pretty sure you know what I'm trying to focus on this time. Nope, not the leg hairs, not the clothes as well. Yes, the gladiator sandals, which are like commonly seen on your feet nowadays, since it's kinda like an ongoing trend for female fashionistas. So I wouldn't be surprise to see ladies wearing them. But what if those sandals are now on a guy's feet? Wierd you say? MY SENTIMENTS EXACTLY.

Well, not that males can't wear those sandals. Romans in the past, be it males or females all wear these kind of sandals and some guys does indeed look good in them. Obviously cute guys with nice looking legs and feet right? Brad Pitt in Troy or Gerard Butler in 300 looks good in them in those movies, but I highly doubt they'll wear it unless there are costume parties that require them to dress up.

Maybe it's the latest trend in other countries for guys to wear such sandals, but in Singapore, that was the first time I've seen it, and I do hope I won't see it again. Not that I know a lot about fashion or that I have good fashion sense, but those sandals DO NOT fit the general male population at all. How many guys out there are willing to wear such footwear, not as in during trying sessions, but seriously purchasing it and wearing it out? Trust me, NOT MUCH DEFINITELY!

Yes, I still feel the ever popular flip-flops and sneakers suits the Singapore male population relatively well, and I wouldn't want to see a huge majority of them wearing these gladiator sandals walking round Orchard Road flaunting their legs in such beautiful footwear.

Well, Ladies clothing line has borrowed ideas from Men's clothing line, such as the boyfriend tee. Those used to be formal shirts for males, and after much designing, ladies design was introduced. So now to fight back, designers are coming up with dresses for men, gladiator sandals for men? Dresses for men I've seen plenty of times, still not used to it though, but I still feel that it looks better on ladies, same for the sandals. Who knows, it may be a rising trend in the future for men to wear designs borrowed from ladies clothings, but still, currently, most teenagers would rather wear what they are really comfortable with rather than trying such unique offering and getting those stares from passerbys.

Remaining at the status quo is still the right choice for now I guess.
