Tuesday, January 5, 2010 I'm pretty sure most of you have seen the signs for "No Food and Drinks" or "No Smoking" in many places like trains, buses, shopping malls or even coffee shops. Yes, coffee shops also have restriction signs, "No Outside Food and Drinks Allowed" Cigarettes, Durians and random food and drinks are indeed some of the things that shouldn't be allowed in public transport, but there's one more thing that shouldn't even be brought out of the house. Yes, that's a nail clipper!! And I'm serious that they should create a fine for anyone who carries or use a nail clipper in public. Most of you would have seen some aunties and uncles, or typical C-people who uses it while 1)In the train 2)In the bus 3)Queueing up 4)Talking to friends at a foodcourt or coffee shop 5)Shopping Those are just some of the places they normally use it. And you would go like, "Ewwww, shouldn't this be done at home and not in public?" That's how I felt too, and I never really felt pissed off about this until one auntie was cutting her nails while queueing in front of me at the bank, and the nails were floating everywhere. Yes, I'm not joking, it was like fireworks, the nails WERE flying everywhere. It really is unethical and gross, do they even know that it is unhygienic? Keeping short nails and having the idea to cut them is good, but not when you're in public! People don't want to see your nails flying around, or even your nails floating round and landing on their skin. How gross is that? A fine as penalty isn't enough for these people, if caught, they should be kept in a room filled with all the nails that other people cut and donated. Lots of fans will be placed in the same room to enable those nails to float around. I'm pretty sure they'll feel disgusted after that, and decide, "OMG, I'm not going to do this again! LET ME OUT OF HERE! *bangs hard on the door till both hands start to bleed* That should ought to teach them a lesson. SO, LET'S BAN THE USE OF NAIL CLIPPERS!!!!!! Labels: Random Stories
