07.09.09 seems so far away now. That was the day I first started my internship at Five Stars Tours, and after more than 5 months, I've left the place with lots of wonderful memories with my fun and lovely group of colleagues. Sincerely thanking all of you from Tampines Branch, and I'll definitely miss all those fun times we had while working! All the best to all of you in your future career in Five Stars Tours. Okay, let me say this straight, but starting your career in Five Stars Tours isn't easy, and I'm determined never to step into a travel agency to work! Imagine more than 8hours of sitting down, entire body with no movement except from your fingers typing hard on the keyboard for 3 years. One word to sum it all up, FATS! Due to long hours of work, and a 6 days work week, you wouldn't have time to do any exercise at all. Not that I LOVE to exercise, but at least I walk, at quite quick paces. And the only off day that you'll be getting will be used to either
A. Stay home and rot the entire day away.
B. Catch up with whatever friends you're left with since you're working so many days, all your friends would have left you.
C. Heading back to the office, since you have many bookings that isn't settled, which makes it a 7 day work week.
D. Furthering your education by going for private lessons, which definitely will make you go crazy with double the workload.
But still, I cannot deny the fact that I've enjoyed the past 5 months, even though I was so fucked up when I first entered the company, leaving me with a bad impression. Now, all I can remember are my WONDERFUL colleagues, and none of the job related stuffs.
So, on 24.01.10, it was Five Stars Tours Annual DnD, Dinner and Dance for short, but I prefer to call it Drink and Drunk. Since most of the staffs kept drinking since it's free, obviously because of it being FREE that's why people keep drinking right? With their continuous efforts in drinking, led them to be drunk, and guess what drunkards do? Yup, PUKE! So, it's kinda like the annual Drink, Drunk, Puke, and Hangover Day! Yeah, keeping sober wasn't realistic on such a day anyways.
The event was held at DXO, apparently the company booked the entire place. Not that it's a big deal, since it's all for marketing. But who cares, as interns all we're doing is to eat, drink, play, and of course take hell lot of photos!

The "S.H.E." of Five Stars Tours, according to the emcees. Think they're blind! My idols don't even look any way like them! WAY PRETTIER!
Can you believe it, they have fans already, before their debut! The 3 of them took part in the singing competition with their version of "Ai Ni" by Cyndi Wang, didn't win but still, GOOD JOB!
The place was filled with lots of people.
Buffet Dinner!!!! Not really nice though! More efforts needed for food!
Performance by a group of dancers who were the PowerPuff Girls and Mojo Jojo. Yup, the looks are exactly like the cartoon, cute girls, and an ugly monster. Not insulting the guy who acted as Mojo, but after he took off the mask, all of us were like, "Er.... *silence*". Yeah, so the theme supposedly was SUPERHEROES, but less than 20 people wore what they assumed was a SUPERHERO. There was a sailormoon, mulan, kungfu soccer team and....
BaoQingTian otherwise known as Justice Bao. And the person beside him is CaiShen or the God of Prosperity. He's here to give out angbaos (Red Packets) to the staffs. And look how it turns out...
All I can hear was, "*screams* I WANT I WANT! GIVE ME GIVE ME!" And I thought typical Singaporeans were bad enough, with the merge of Singapore, Malaysia and China, you can imagine the chaos our country is getting into. Not that who wouldn't want money, since it's free angbaos with $2, $5, $10, but at least know your limits. Why don't one of you just snatch the ingot filled with all the angbaos instead? I can understand if it's for luck, but if you're snatching just because you need the cash, then all I can say is FUCK YOU. Yes, I'm pissed because I didn't get a single one. LOL!
So, we sang from 11.30pm till 4am, by the time I reached home, it was almost 5am. Couldn't stand it anymore, I took off my contacts and fell onto my bed, sleeping for less than 3 hours before lessons officially starts. *murmurs* school shouldn't start so early, I need sleep! And thus, I skipped my NAPFA test, just so I could take my beauty nap! Since I know I'm bound to fail, I don't see a need in going anyways! Time for bed once again!

Eesan! The first person who was really kind to all of us interns, and the first person who guides us along the way when we first started out in Five Stars Tours. Thanks for all your guidance!
Oh and, 3 of our interns walked away with huge prizes from the lucky draw. Obviously not me, but still, we stole the limelight. I bet the full-timers must be so pissed off, especially when an intern wins the top prize. LOL!
After the party ended, the Tampines gang continued to our next destination, Party World at Liang Court.
We got the biggest room that they offer. Each person paid about $25 inclusive of service charge and GST. The room has a massage chair too!
