Movie Mania!!!! Have been watching movies for 2 consecutive days. (Supposed to be watching Sherlock Homles today) Avatar was AVA-ZING! Although the movie lasted for roughly 3hrs, it was indeed a good show, worthy to be said of the Best Movie in 2009. (and it did get into the Top 10 Movies of 2009 according to E!)
Its really different from what we get, the entire plot revolving around a planet that isn't even there, with natives of blue skin and the language and dance in some satanic way. But still its really interesting. How they care about Mother Nature, how they speak to animals and make a bond with them. (They bond using their hair, and each animal has similar hair to make the bond) It's just unbelievable, makes me wanna live on the planet too and be one of them!
Well, marking the end of 2009 in less than 12hrs, I don't even remember if I did fulfill any of my 2009 resolutions. Year 2010, the end of my 3year life to get a diploma. National Service is near, my fate is sealed for 2 or more years. But its settled, Australia university shall be awaiting my presence once I'm done. (Mummy agrees to let me go over, money issue could be solved according to her, My determination shall not falter, no matter what anyone say) Really hope that that'll be true, my grades are really pathetic, Singapore universities standards are just so high. =(

Just finished watching Alvin And The Chipmunks, The Squeakquel with my colleagues. Super Duper Cute!!!!!!! There isn't much of a storyplot. The main motive of watching this movie was just to see these adorable chipmunks singing and dancing and doing hilarious moves. Not much songs this time as compared to the first movie. But i still like the Chipettes version of Single Ladies! *points to the ring on the finger* LOVES THEODORE!!! SUPER CUTE!!!

This the season to be jolly~~~~~~
Once again, Christmas is here! Celebration time!!!!
Last Friday, headed down to Orchard Central with BFFs! We went to create our very own Christmas Log Cake! It was fun, although lots of people around us were staring at our WONDERFUL design. Then we headed to one sandwich shop called Quiznos, and yes, the sandwiches are as tasty as the ones from Subway, and even better.
It's the second year that we're celebrating it together, just the 4 of us. And of course, gifts exchange! I got an APPLE shape speaker and a Chip and Dale notepad dispenser! And did I fail to mention that the cake was simply chocolatey delicious! Yum Yum!
Sunday, went to K Box for a late night K session, finally satisfy the desire to sing! Although the price was sky high, we had a really good time! Shall go for it once again once su-lin is back, so we can safe on the taxi fare! =D
Tuesday, celebrated "Dong Zhi", or as I call it, the "Tang Yuan/ Glutinous Balls Festival" with my family. Long time since a family gathering, really enjoy family time spent together just to have a meal. Even though we rarely spoke to each other, we never run of things to talk. (And sometimes we just say the stupidest and funniest things)
Finally, just finished Christmas celebration with my family, and seriously, THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! Roast Chicken, Rosti, Sausages, Pasta, Chicken Soup with Garlic Bread and the best part of the meal, CHOCOLATE FONDUE! Great day once again, too bad there isn't any snow in Singapore, if not, we could be making snowmen and having a snow fight together. =(
Anyways, Christmas means... LOTS OF CHOCOLATES for me! Royce chocolates, Ferrero Rochers, Chocolate Fondue, Log Cakes from Mezza 9, Bengawan Solo and Coffee Bean, and plenty of other chocolates. Better start exercising once Christmas is over, if not I definitely shall and will fail my Napfa Test. =(

Okay, hasn't been doing much lately, apart from watching videos. Finally finished watching Glee and finished catching up on Brothers and Sisters. So... went to catch Couples Retreat, it was seriously kinda lame. Apparently I guess the script writer has no idea how to end the entire movie, thus coming up with such a stupid ending. There may be some parts that's really funny, but apart from that, dry humour. And I HATE DRY HUMOUR! (If you don't even know what dry humour is, seriously, GET A LIFE!)
Christmas is coming, and this year, same old same old. No festive mood, and it only gets worse when one is in the midst of internship. It sucks. Well, on the bright side, can't wait to get presents! And I'm intending to get a camera, after so long! =D

Went to catch New Moon at a very last minute notice, luckily, most of us could make it. Shall not say much more of the movie. But seriously, Robsten could get a room. (All Kristen Stewart is basically doing is touching the bodies of both actors.) And the acting couldn't be any worse. Seriously, worse off than the books.
Anyways, while I was in the train to orchard, a man in the train fell down, kinda like went into a deep sleep. Everyone was in a huge shock, screams of "Oh", "Ah" and whatsoever. The man just laid on the floor, and no one including me did much, apart from one guy who contacted the staff. Everyone was just staring at him. And when we reached the next station and the staff was walking in, the man sat up suddenly, swept the dirt off himself, and stood up. I know, exactly as if nothing happened before. Kinda like a false alarm, but I personally think that he's just tired and fell asleep or something.
But thats not the point, what I'm trying to say is that are we Singaporeans kinda inhumane? Obviously me included. When people are in need of help, we're mostly the ones standing by, looking at the situation, doing nothing. Kinda cold blooded don't you think? Is this how we were taught? Or is it in the blood of all the Singaporeans? Seriously, I don't know, I know most of the people will be like, "I wish to help, but no one is helping, and I just don't want people to look at me, cause I'm the only one who volunteers." How are we suppose to change this mindset of being the bystander?
